Dear Parents of SBS SISS Primary students,

We would like to give you a short update in a nutshell about the school start on coming Monday, 17 August 2020.

Regular school hours:
• Students will be supervised on SISS Primary playground from 7.30 am – 8.45 am (wearing masks is currently compulsory for everybody who is on the playground – see hygiene regula-tions below)
• Lessons from 8.45 am – 3.00 pm
• Supervision from 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm ( detailed information will be provided by the SV Team)

Lunch:
Packed lunch until further notice (currently envisaged for the first two weeks). All children will have lunch in their classrooms.

According to the latest information of the Ministry of Education we are approaching the next phase of the “back to normal school routines” in Primary schools.   

We would like to inform you about the general setting for SISS Primary:  As of Monday, 22nd June 2020 all Primary children will be back to school.

Dear Parents of SISS Primary,

In accordance with the latest regulations of the Ministry of Education we would like to provide a follow up regarding the upcoming school start for Y4 and eventually all Primary children.

Envisaged school starts:

18th May: (Y4s only) The setting for 18th May – 2nd June will be very similar to the setting outlined in the Y4 parent information letter of 24 April 2020. Final details will be sent to the Y4 parents by next week.)

2nd June: (All Primary children) Detailed information will be provided prior to the school opening to all parents)

We need to point out that the school start in June will under no circumstances be a “back to school” routine as we know it from before Covid 19. We will see small groups of children from all year groups; they will be attending four morn-ing lessons in school with their class teacher/ subject teacher under strict obe-dience of the hygiene regulations, 1-2 x week.

We will provide you with further information about each class’ schedule and the general hygiene regulations in an email prior to the school opening.
