SISS Y3 and Y4 go SV98
As surely some of you have already heard, our hardworking Year 3 and Year 4 classes won the Muuvit challenge for Hessen schools! Our prize will be a trip to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor, home of SV Darmstadt 98. During this visit, the children will have a guided tour of the stadium and learn some important exercises to stay fit and healthy.

Yesterday, the SISS primary hall was turned into a book shop. Mrs Ophelia Gartside, Chief Bookworm from The Little English Bookworm, and Mrs Jessica Thomas from Usborne Books presented a wide range of children’s books to the classes.
You can get the answer to this question from the Perfect Penguins and other Flexible Lower Primary classes, who have very successfully practised how to crochet in their Art lessons. The first step was to learn how to do crochet chains with your fingers only. As a second step the children will use crochet hooks.
Something was going on in our Primary library! The students knew that new books were ordered but when – oh when! – would they arrive? Finally, everything was ready and SISS Primary students were excited to find over 200 (!) new books on the shelves and on display in our Primary Library (Bücherwelt).
